Continuity sequence evaluation
I personally feel that our video is well shot. I tried my best to ensure all angles, all pans and all shots were filmed to a good standard. I also made sure that all the shots on our 'Shot checklist', these being various examples of editing techniques and angles.
Out of all of the shot types and angles that I filmed, i feel that two of them could of been done better; these being my attempt at the 'Dolly Zoom' and one of my scenes where one of the subjects is walking down a corridor and the lighting is too bright, the sunlight affects the quality of the video.
My 'Dolly Zoom' is well done, for a first attempt, however it would be much better if i did it on a dolly, rather than with a shoulder mount. The dolly would of allowed a straight and level path for the camera to travel. Assuming there are two subjects in the frame on my 'Dolly Zoom' that means that i cannot focus on one of them, this makes it have less impact; assuming the zoom is made to distort a single subject. When it comes to the brightly lit scene, all that should of been done, is if i adjusted my aperture and my ISO levels, the brightness and grain problem would be fixed.
